A Great Ab Circle Pro Review

Here's a great review of the Ab Circle Pro home exercise machine that was recently sent to us by a helpful reader:

Almost everyone has scene the late night infomercial for Ab Circle Pro. The makers of this product assert that you can get visible abs and lose up to 10 pounds with only three minutes of use for two weeks. However, these are the same assertions that other exercise products promise. So is the Ab Circle Pro just another scam or does it actually produce results?

As for results, the overwhelming consensus is that it does help to tone abs. Although, just a "few" minutes of working out on the Ab Circle Pro by itself is not nearly enough to create lean abdominal definition. The machine should be used for about 20 to 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes of other exercises, such as strength training or cardio exercise. While the makers state that it provides both an intense cardio and ab-building workout, this is simply not 100% true. The amount of muscle worked is minimal since much of the turning power comes from momentum, not your muscles pushing against weight. That being said, this fitness device does help many users lose weight quickly when combined with other forms of exercise and a healthy, lower-calorie diet. So if weight loss is your biggest concern, then you may want to consider the Ab Circle Pro.

While this product can show results, other aspects of the Ab Circle Pro make it a questionable purchase. One of the problems with this device is that it seems to be made cheaply. There are reports of the support bar and frictionless track breaking and the knee pads being very uncomfortable and even painful. Probably the most egregious problem with the Ab Circle Pro is the supposed 30 day trial for $14.95. Unfortunately, with the trial you have to pay $34.95 for shipping and handling. If you choose to return the product, then you must pay another $34.95 again. You pay almost half of the original price of $200 just to try out the Ab Circle Pro even if you just return it.

Although this exercise device can produce results, the promises of toned abs and major weight loss with minimal effort are false. In reality, this machine can help you lose weight, but not by itself (without a clean diet and other forms of exercise) and not just by using it for a few minutes a few times per week. Additionally, the cost of the Ab Circle Pro may be too high for the quality of the product. If the company were to reduce this product’s price by about $50 to $100, or offer special discount prices, then it could definitely be a great investment as a home workout option. Until then though, you should be very sure that this is the piece of home fitness equipment you want (read: you'll definitely use it often!) before you decide to purchase it. Otherwise, you may end up with a large bill and another unused infomercial product.

  1. Hi,

I just got my Ab Circle Pro. I tried it out yesterday. Right away, I knew 3 minutes was not going to do the trick. I had to work out for a little over 30 minutes. I also did 30 minutes today. I do feel sore muscles on my sides... its good "work out" pain. My Arms, breast area and my upper back got the most benefit from the Ab circle. My thighs and but have no strain or pain. The Ab roller would work better if had more resistance.

Over all it works... but see results.. work our for 30 minutes or more.
